While we can’t attend craft shows in person, we are bringing you the next best thing with P2PCrafts Presents…. demonstrations and interviews with our talented retailers and guest artists. Across the next few weeks, Michelle Brown will chat with a collection of crafters and artists who are eager to share their stories and their passion for papercrafts with us.

P2PCrafts Presents… is the craft show you don’t need to leave home for or set aside one whole weekend or even travel to – it will come into your homes via Facebook Live on From Picture to Page, and replays to watch as many times as you would like on Facebook, Youtube and right here (see below!)

And you will be able to find out about our featured retailers and pop over to check out their online stores, or current opening hours (please call before dropping by!)

Highlights from the Bendigo Papercrafts Show

What a fantastic weekend we had at the 2019 Bendigo From Picture to Page and Beyond – Scrapbooking, Mixed Media Art and Papercrafts show. We had a fantastic range of papercraft and wellness retailers, plus record numbers of crafters through the door, ready to SEE the latest crafting supplies and watch the demonstrations by our talented crafters, PLAY with mini craft classes and Make and Takes and BUY their craft supplies!

Plus a HUGE thank you to Cathy Daulman, who donated at TONNE of her lovely books “An Introduction to Fun Rubber Stamping” to share with our crafters – they were most appreciated!

There was a few new retailers who were attending their first From Picture to Page craft expo, a few who were back after a time away and, of course, all of our favourites headed back to the Kangaroo Flat Primary School. They offered a brilliant array of Mini Classes and Make and Takes.

Here are a few of the highlights from our Papercraft show

A huge THANK YOU to all of you who came along to support our boutique paper crafts show and we hope you had a lovely weekend, filled with crafting inspiration and meeting up with like minded crafters. I often feel “thank you” doesn’t seem like enough words to express how truly grateful we are to have you as part of our community.

I must also thank our wonderful retailers, some of who come quite a way to spend the weekend with us, plus Enzo, Maria and Olivia, from the Just Sweets team, who provided the wonderful catering across the weekend, keeping us hydrated, caffeinated and full of good food.

Make and Takes at Pakenham Show

Make and Takes are free little projects that let you get hands-on at the Picture to Page Papercrafts show. Each retailer sets up their Make and Takes a little differently, so you will need to check with them as some will take time bookings and for others, you will need to wait and take your turn.

Here are the retailers that are offering Make and Takes at the Pakenham show.

Scrap to Relax ~ Shell Card

Scrap to Relax will be offering a shell card and will include using stencils, Prima products, distress inks and more. They will be doing them on both days.

A Paper Experience ~ Mini Envelope Card

A Paper Experience will be making mini envelope cards with a punch and wash tape

Mixed Media Art ~ Gel Printing

The Mixed Media Art team are offering you the chance to have a play with Gel printing; get hands on with gel printing, paints and using stencil and Art Foamies stamps.

Hobby Hoppers ~ Lollipop Card

Hobby Hoppers will be offering this cute lollipop card! The card uses a range of coloured string and wash tape.

The Craft Emporium

The Craft Emporium will also be offering a free Make and Take, as well as their mini-classes, during the show. There are two different designs and both use the peel and glitter technique. Sonia and her team are offering a range of hands-on options, so check at their stand for times and costs.

Please remember, the make and takes take the traders a lot of time and effort to put together. Please be considerate of the teachers, other show participants and the venue. Some traders will encourage kids but please supervise and check with each retailer if it is okay.

Our make and takes are very popular and demand can be very high, so please plan your visit accordingly.
