The From Picture to Page and Beyond Papercraft Show returned to Pakenham on Saturday 17 and Sunday 18 May 2025, transforming the Cardinia Cultural Centre into a vibrant celebration of papercraft, scrapbooking, and mixed media art. Over two fun-filled days, crafters of all ages and skill levels came together to share their passion, get inspired, and explore the latest trends in the creative world.
Visitors enjoyed a wide range of hands-on experiences, including make-and-take projects, mini-classes, and demonstrations by talented expert crafters. It was the perfect opportunity to try new techniques, ask questions, and get tips directly from the pros.
The show was also a shopper’s paradise, with stalls packed full of crafting supplies, tools, and exclusive products from much-loved retailers and local traders. The warm, welcoming atmosphere made it easy for everyone to mingle, swap ideas, and connect with fellow creative minds.
A highlight of the weekend was our “Autumn Palette” ATC (Artist Trading Card) swap, which brought together a wonderful group of participants to share and exchange their miniature works of art. The creativity on display was truly heartwarming!
Whether you’re a passionate papercrafter, an experienced scrapbooker, or just curious about getting started, the Pakenham Papercraft Show offered something special for everyone. We can’t wait to see you at the next show!
Here are a few of the highlights with our fantastic crafting community and retailers!
And a few more!
A few of the fabulous CLASSES that were held throughout the two day event! There were SO many activities that we didn’t get photos of all of them!
And our lovely venue – the Cardinia Cultural Centre
A HUGE T-H-A-N-K Y-O-U to all of the crafters and retailers who attended our papercrafts show! We had crafters from all across Melbourne and further afield.
It was lovely to catch up with many of you and meet many more for the first time. To put faces to names I have only seen on Facebook or on emails; to hear of your crafting achievements and life challenges. We really do have a fabulous community of crafters!
I would LOVE to keep in touch via our Facebook Group Papercraft Posse.
x Michelle.
