Bringing smiles to seniors

At the Pakenham From Picture to Page Papercrafts Show [17 & 18 May 2025, Cardinia Cultural Centre, Victoria], you can leave your card donations with Dawn Lewis OR make a card while you are the show!
Other things to know:
- Cards are accepted by cardmakers of all abilities and ages.
- Cards should be suitable for senior men & women (so no kids cards).
- If they can be accompanied by an envelope, that is greatly appreciated.
- Cards don’t need to be individually bagged, just all together in one bag is fine.
- If the card creator can pop a short message inside and sign their name (can be first name only) and state, that makes it more personal (because it’s what’s on the inside that counts!).
- They don’t have to be a particular size, because they are hand-delivered, not posted (C6, DL, A2 and square are all fine).
- There is a PDF that people can print (see below). It has 4 donation slips, and Dawn will have some available at the show. It doesn’t have to be this form … it can just be a slip of paper with name, email, state and a tally of how many cards / which categories. It helps us to give credit to creators in the Facebook group, as well as helping collection points (in this case me) update our master spreadsheet so we can make sure we have enough cards, and they can go where they’re needed.
- Cards are distributed via Meals on Wheels in some states, as well as directly to nursing homes & retirement villages.
