About Cancer Support Angels
We’re not here to cure cancer. We’re here to make the ‘day to day’ a bit easier.
Jodie Hollis, Founder
The Cancer Support Angels are a not for profit organisation started by the wonderful Jodie Hollis, and is based in Melbourne helping families across the country.
They provide Angel care packs, phone support and financial assistance. They can also put you in touch with many other services including food and pantry services, counselling, housing, financial counselling, legal, and lots more. The Angels support is tailored to each individual patient, and they aim to source the answers and support from other organisations as required.
Angels Day Christmas fundraiser
Each year the Angels to run a fundraiser at Christmas to help their community make the festive Season a little easier for those families who need a little extra support.
You can help by donating Gift Cards
Whether you use your credit card points or pick one up when shopping, gift cards allow the Angel community the opportunity to make Christmas a little easier.
Store ideas for gift cards include:
- Supermarkets: Coles & Woolworths
- Department stores: Kmart, Target, Best & Less, Big W & Harris Scarf
- Hardware stores: Bunnings
Bring them along to the Sandown papercraft show and drop them off at the Cancer Support Angels stand.
