P2PCrafts Happy Mail Card Swap

Let’s share some happiness through the post!

After 2020, we thought all of this Lockdown business would be behind us, but here we are in 2021!

And we need more HAPPY MAIL! So once again, let’s bring some joy to our fellow crafters with a card swap and get some happy mail in your letter box. All levels of crafting experience welcome to participate. Open to all Australian residents.

Happy Mail Card Swap Guidelines

1. Make an A6 card – any theme or technique (no nudity, profanities or religious themes) to fit into a C6 envelope (maximum size 148mm x 105mm when closed)

2. Write in the card

Hello Crafter,
Add your message
Sign your name
(And email address if you would like to know it arrived)

3. Post the card to:
P2PCrafts Happy Mail
PO Box 777
Mount Waverley VIC 3149

4, Include a stamped, self-addressed C6 envelope for your return card

5. Closes Friday 3 September 2021
Give yourself plenty of time for the post; it’s very slow at times!

Then the P2PCrafts team will sort and send you a card back!

When you receive your card, share on Papercraft Posse Facebook Group
Thank the person who made your card, if they have included their email address on the card

Frequently Asked Questions

1. Can I send more than one card?

Yes, but also send a stamped, self-addressed envelope for every card you send(with $1.10 postage) to a maximum of 3 cards per person (Any additional cards will be returned to you!)

2. ANY theme or technique?

Yes but keep it fun and no nudity, profanities or religious themes
(our sense of humour is running a little thin at present!)
Also it needs to fit into the post so be sensible with layers and embellishments.

3. What size does my card need to be?

Your card MUST be A6 card when folded (148mm x 105mm) to fit into a C6 envelope (A5 folded in half)
(Any other card sizes will be returned to you and now swapped!)

4. Can I decorate the envelope?

Sure but you don’t have to – it’s up to you!

5. Who can participate in the card swap?

The card swap is open to all levels of crafting experience. Participants must be residing in Australia and have a current Australian postal address.

During August and September 2020, we had a fantastic response to our call for contributions to our Happy Mail Card Swap! We had TWO sorting tables of cards laid out with 86 cards – a lot of Happy Mail! THANK YOU for your contributions!

What an AMAZING weekend we had at the Pakenham craft show, Cardinia Cultural Centre! It was fantastic to be back to in-person shows, with smiles, laughter and sharing our passion for crafting.

Victorian Health Department Update

As an event organiser, the Pakenham show at the Cardinia Cultural Centre was registered with the Victorian Government.

On 24 May 2021, at 8pm, the Victorian Department of Health has asked us to advise you that you should get tested if you have been at any of the exposure sites that have been published on the Coronavirus Victoria website.  These venues are updated as new information is received so please check back regularly.

This announcement is a precaution only; the Pakenham craft show has NOT been listed as an exposure site (as at 25 May 2021)

When attending the show, you will need to agree to adhering to our COVID Safe requirements:

  • checking into the exhibition area with QR code
    [Please have the Services Victoria app downloaded onto your smartphone
  • sanitising on arrival
  • carry a mask with you and wear it when you cannot maintain social distancing, ie during classes
  • doing our best to keep distance of 1.5m apart
