2023 Bendigo Show Wrap Up

What a fabulous show we had at Bendigo on the 18 & 19 March. The weather was gorgeous (though a little hot for some on Saturday). All the crafters had a wonderful time and many spent the day or days doing Mini Classes, Make and Takes and watching demonstrations which our very talented retailers supplied. Lots of bags were filled to the brim with their crafty purchases. Also, there was heaps of yummy food.

Thank you to all who attended, both crafters and retailers without whom there would be no show.

Bendigo Show 2023 Retailers

We are heading back to Bendigo for our annual Bendigo Papercraft Show. We will be at the Bendigo Showgrounds on the 18 & 19 March with a fantastic lineup of retailers. The Bendigo, Pakenham, Sandown and Peninsula shows are at the same venues and weekends we are used to over the last few years (with Peninsula dates to be confirmed.)

The Northern show will be held at Plenty Ranges Arts & Convention Centre in South Morang; this has been in the planning stages since before COVID. The venue is wonderful with all ability access, air conditioning, catering and free car parking!

The Western show will move from Geelong to Werribee, at the Encore Events Centre in Hoppers Crossing, and be held on the same weekend as our previous Geelong shows. As much as we loved our Geelong venue, we had outgrown it and needed to find a venue with better access – the Encore Events Centre definitely promises to fulfill all of our needs! It also has all ability access, air conditioning, catering and free car parking!

AND we have been invited to curate the Makers, Arts and Crafts section of the Train & Hobby show at the Sandown Raceway – 11, 12 & 13 March. There will be something there for the whole family! Stay tuned for more details as they become available.

Ticket Pricing for 2023

Throughout 2022 we have held our ticket prices steady and absorbed as much of the increases as possible. There is a small increase to ticket prices for 2023.

Regional shows (Northern, Bendigo, Western & Peninsula); tickets $15
(discount entry $13) and two day passes $22
Pakenham & Sandown shows; tickets $18
(discount entry $16), two day passes $25
(and for Sandown, three day passes $28)
We will continue our policy of partners and children under 16 with free entry.

Keeping in touch

While we have finished our craft shows for 2022, we will continue with our weekly update videos (on Facebook and YouTube) plus the Papercraft Posse facebook group is there to share your creative triumphs, ask questions and continue to support your fellow crafters. And I am sure Michelle and Jenni will come up with lots of other things that we will be eager to share!

2022 IT’S A WRAP

Let’s take a look back at 2022 for From Picture to Page and Beyond!

We have had a busy and amazing 2022 with 6 sensational in person shows:- which had over 3500 attendees, 103 retailers, 18 Make and takes, 43 Mini Classes and 47 Demonstrations.

As well as this we 7 crafternoons and don’t forget our Winter online show where we had 12 retailers doing live demonstrations which has had over 5000 views. You can find all the lives on Facebook Page. Wow what a year!

It was so awesome to meet so many other crafting enthusiast came to the show and we appreciate each and everyone of you.

The retailers you are absolutely remarkable to bring so many different classes, make and takes and demonstrations to share with the P2P crafting community they have been a highlight for the year.

Next year’s planning is well underway and we are happy to introduce some new shows as well as our regular ones. We are also planning 2 online shows for you as well. Put these dates in your diary and start planning your crafty year.

It was awesome to be back at the Peninsula Community Theatre for the From Picture to Page Papercraft show on the 18 and 19 November. First time back since 2019 and well worth the wait. The amazing retailers didn’t disappoint with their ranges of products and their Mini Classes, Make and Takes and Demonstrations were well received.

3 day show at Sandown a hit!

It was amazing to be back at Sandown for our 3 day show.

We were super excited to be able to bring all our fabulous and CREATIVE retailers together for this FANTASTIC show on the 14, 15 and 16 October and to see so many of our crafting community attend.

The 3 days were packed full of classes, make and takes and demonstrations, to satisfy every crafters needs. The variety of products and knowledge from our retailers is outstanding and they LOVED being able to share with you.
